In the midst of feeling guilty, the D.J.'s said they had an idea. Instead of being mean when you are in the car, be nice. How can I do that? The answer was convenient: Fast food. Pay for the order of the person behind you. I had heard of it before but I had never tried it. It was being nice to people without recognition for my acts, it was bold.
The next day I put this thought into action and paid for the person behind me at Starbucks...the gesture really did relieve road rage. I felt better about being nice to others around me and I became more patient as I drove to my destination.
